SelfSense provides personalized and precise formulations for the body, empowering people’s health awareness and immersive self-care experiences.

SelfSense is a virtual self-care brand that I proposed and for which I designed the brand identity as well as the kit product packaging.
IDEA/CONCEPT:
With the increasing awareness and demand for personal care amongst the younger generation, SelfSense was developed to provide personalized and precise formulas to enhance health awareness and provide an immersive self-care experience for the younger generation.
Main Products: Body Wash, Hair Serum, Face Cream, Hand Balm and Aromatherapy
APPROACH:
After conducting extensive research on both competitors and target users, I identified 'professionalism, ingredient transparency, and simplicity' as the most critical keywords guiding SelfSense's brand image design. In addition, the need for a high degree of customization has become a potential consideration for packaging design.
In crafting the core logo/word mark, I paid special attention to the detail at the ends of the letters, aiming to strike a perfect balance between rationality and youthful vitality. This approach reflects SelfSense's commitment to professionalism and transparency, while the simplicity of the design speaks to its core value of straightforwardness.
For SelfSense's color platte, I opted for light gray, white, and rich black to achieve a pure and clean expression. This choice further underscores SelfSense's essence, combining professional integrity with a fresh and vibrant energy.
The core values of SelfSense, namely ingredient transparency, science, professionalism and high customization, are conveyed through a visual grid and a handwritten representation of the ingredients freely chosen by the user.
In addition, the packaging structure utilizes a "consumer profile" double peel-off label design to illustrate the brand's impact through the collision of rationality and sensibility.
With the popularity of AI, I actively embrace change, and in this project, I use Midjourney to generate poster images to pinpoint the brand's tonality.
